AMD Expands Ryzen Embedded Processor Family for High-Performance Industrial Automation, Machine Vision and Edge Applications

        AMD today announced the AMD Ryzen™ Embedded 7000 Series processors, optimized for the high-performance needs of the industrial market, at Smart Production Solutions 2023. By combining the "Zen 4" architecture with integrated Radeon graphics, the Ryzen Embedded 7000 Series processors deliver the best performance and features available in the embedded market. With their extended features and integrated functionality, RALON Embedded 7000 Series processors are ideal for a wide range of embedded applications including industrial automation, machine vision, robotics and edge servers.
 
 
        The RALON Embedded 7000 Series processors are the first embedded processors to utilize next-generation 5nm (nanometer) technology while offering a seven-year manufacturing commitment. This new embedded processor integrates AMD Radeon RDNA™ 2 graphics, eliminating the need for a discrete GPU for industrial applications, and because embedded applications require additional operating system software options, the Rui Long Embedded 7000 Series processors support Windows Server and Linux-Ubuntu in addition to Windows 10 and Windows 11. The RALON Embedded 7000 Series processors also include up to 12 high-performance CPU cores, which, combined with their integrated feature set and wide choice of operating systems, provide system designers with exceptional ease of integration.
