August 12 news, according to Bloomberg reports, citing Susquehanna Financial Group report released on the 11th, pointed out that in July the average global Electronic Components delivery time of 26.9 weeks, lower than the revised 27 weeks in June, has been shortened for the third consecutive month. Apparently the tight global Electronic Components supply situation is easing, but the report also pointed out that although the overall indicators have improved, but power management chips, microcontrollers (MCU) supply (especially automotive and industrial chips) is still tight.

Specifically, in July, the average delivery period of power management chips from 31.3 weeks in June to 32 weeks, some product prices also continued to move higher. susquehanna analyst Chris Rolland pointed out that personal computers, smart phones chip demand decline has not yet ended the overall supply shortage situation, the overall average delivery period of the chip is still double the normal.

According to Nikkei Asian Review, British research firm Omdia pointed out that the global power supply chip market is estimated to reach $29 billion in 2027, almost double the value in 2020.
MCU supplier Microchip also said on August 2, did not find any signs of weak performance, performance is subject to the phenomenon of supply is expected to continue all the way to 2023.
