TSMC's revenue was NT $186.763 billion in July, up 6.2 percent a month to a new high

On August 10, the official website of TSMC released the revenue report for July 2022. In July, the combined revenue of TSMC was about NT $186.763 billion (about rmb42.022 billion), an increase of 6.2% month on month and a new record high, with a year-on-year increase of 49.9%. From January to July this year, the revenue was about 1.21 trillion new Taiwan dollars (about 272.25 billion yuan), an increase of 41.1% year-on-year.
TSMC estimates that the consolidated revenue in the third quarter is between us $19.8 billion and US $20.6 billion; Assuming the exchange rate of NT $29.7 to US $1, the gross profit rate is expected to be between 57.5% and 59.5%; The operating profit margin is expected to be between 47% and 49%.
