Kongate Germany has recently launched a new family of COM Express Compact Modules powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra processors. This new module is equipped with a unique heterogeneous computing engine including CPU, GPU and NPU to realize edge AI functions in more scenarios.

In addition to ultra-performance cores (P-cores) and energy-efficiency cores (E-cores) for general-purpose computing and high-performance Intel® Arc™ GPUs for intensive graphics tasks, Intel® Core™ Ultra processors are equipped with Intel® AI Boost's integrated Neural Processing Units (NPUs), which deliver advanced neural processing power to the entire computing architecture. Compared to previous decentralized gas pedals, the integrated NPU provides low-power AI acceleration to efficiently perform AI-driven tasks, thereby reducing costs. In summary, the new computer module equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors is ideally suited for surgical robots and medical imaging and diagnostic systems that require high-performance real-time computing with superb AI capabilities, supporting healthcare professionals with algorithms that automatically generate key findings.
Additionally, the new computer modules can be used in applications requiring situational awareness, such as inspection systems, stationary robotic arms, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and automated guided vehicles (AGVs). By providing customers with solution-oriented products and services, we can significantly shorten the time-to-market of customers' AI systems and meet the demand for powerful AI in areas such as industrial process control, microgrid controllers, medical ultrasound and x-ray, automated checkout terminals, and ultra-autonomous mobile robots. Tim Henrichs, vice president of global marketing and business development at Conquest, said, " OEM manufacturers can easily upgrade existing products by swapping out modules, gaining instant access to cutting-edge AI technology and equipping x86 systems with AI performance with unprecedented ease."
The new conga-TC700 COM Express Compact Computer Module with Intel Core Ultra processors is the most energy-efficient x86 client SoC on the market today. the new processors feature up to six performance cores (P-cores) and eight energy-efficiency cores (E-cores), as well as two low-power LPE cores supporting nearly 22 threads, allowing for the integration of decentralized AI performance. With nearly 22 threads, it is possible to consolidate disparate devices onto a single platform, minimizing total cost of ownership. The chip's integrated Intel Arc GPU features up to 8 Xe cores and 128 EUs for an impressive 2 x 8K graphics resolution and ultra-fast GPGPU-based visual data (pre) processing. The processor also integrates NPU Intel AI Boost for efficient execution of machine learning algorithms and AI inference. The processor memory up to 96 GB DDR SO-DIMM with in-band ECC at 5600 MT/s provides excellent energy efficiency for high data throughput and low latency.
The new modules support Conquest OEM Solutions' ecosystem of high-performance products, including efficient active and passive thermal solutions and ready-to-use evaluation carrier boards. Customers can order modules pre-loaded with hypervisor technology to enable VM deployment and workload consolidation in edge computing scenarios. In addition, Conqueror offers services including shock and vibration testing, temperature screening and high-speed signal compliance testing for customized system designs, as well as a variety of design services and essential training courses to facilitate the use of Conqueror's embedded computing technology and complete the product ecosystem.
