NXP announced its financial results on July 26, announcing net income attributable to common shareholders of the parent company of US$670 million for the second quarter of fiscal 2022, up 68.77% year-on-year, and operating income of US$3,312 million, up 27.58% year-on-year.
NXP continued to perform well despite significant macroeconomic cross-trends," said Kurt Sievers, President and CEO of NXP. The very strong performance of new designs in the end markets we focus on reinforces our confidence that our investments are aligned with long-term market demand."
