The LM1875T is a monolithic power amplifier for consumer audio applications with very low distortion and good quality performance. On ±25V supply, the LM1875T produces 20 watts into a 4Ω or 8Ω load. Over 30 watts of electricity can be delivered with an 8Ω load and ±30V supply. The amplifier is made to work with as few external components as possible. Internal current limit and thermal shutdown are both used for device overload protection. Even at high output power levels, the LM1875T design uses advanced circuit techniques and processing to provide extremely low distortion levels. High gain, fast slew rate, wide power bandwidth, huge output voltage swing, high current capability, and a very wide supply range are among the other noteworthy qualities. For gains of 10 or above, the amplifier is internally adjusted and steady.
