Binsan Technology released its first general-purpose GPU chip, setting a global computing power record

        Yesterday, the domestic chip ushered in a major breakthrough. Brentech released the first general GPU chip BR100 in Shanghai, which set a global computing power record. The 16-bit floating point computing power reached more than 1000T, the 8-bit fixed-point computing power reached more than 2000T, and the peak computing power of a single chip reached the level of PFLOPS. The official release of the BR100 marks the first time that a Chinese company has broken the global power record for general-purpose Gpus, which was previously held by international giants.  
        In addition to the widely paid attention to BR100 general GPU chip, Binsen Technology also officially released its own original architecture -- Binsen OAM server -- Haicen, which has created a global performance record, OAM module -- Binsen 100, PCIe board product -- Binsen 104, and self-developed BIRENSUPA software platform. The reason why BR100 is able to achieve internationally leading computing power is that the lowest level of support comes from the original chip architecture. Zhang Wen said, three years ago, in Mount Wuyi "wall-mount" boulder, firmly founded the wall of high technology; Three years later, the company officially named the original chip architecture of Binsan Technology with the word "Binsan".
        At the conference, Hong Zhou, co-founder and CTO of Binsan Technology, introduced in detail the original architecture -- Binsan. Hong Zhou said that the wall Ren architecture takes data flow as the center and makes deep optimization on data flow. Through six technical features, the bottleneck of data moving and the problem of insufficient parallelism are completely solved, which makes the BR100 chip realize leap-forward progress in performance and energy efficiency under the given process.
        In order to achieve large computing power, the technology of chip design is extremely high. Hong Zhou revealed that the BR100 adopts the design concept of Chiplet, so that the total chip area can break through the limit of the cap size on the single chip area, and integrate more computing power and universal logic. In addition, by reducing the area of a single compute core, productivity and yield can be increased simultaneously, which greatly reduces the cost of silicon wafers and enables more flexible product strategies.At the same time, Binsen Technology also released the mainstream product Binsen 104 based on BR104. Based on the standard PCIe form, Binsen 104 can control the power consumption within 300W. Its compact form, wide deployment, strong adaptability, can adapt to a variety of 2-4U servers, and is highly compatible with the customer's existing infrastructure. Xu Lingjie introduced that, from chip to board module to server, Wall-Li 100 and Wall-Li 104 as the base, Wall-Li technology has formed a complete data center accelerated computing product line. Blili 104 has been open to some users to invite test, will be produced soon; Haixuan OAM server is currently undergoing intensive internal testing and is expected to be open to test in the fourth quarter of this year.
        At the press conference, Huang Yuxiang, chairman and CEO of Ping An Technology, said that Ping An Technology will build a high-end general intelligent computing platform based on Ping An Cloud, combined with Binning technology products, and launch competitive products and solutions for different user scenarios. Binsan Technology will also provide Ping An with high-efficiency training, low-cost reasoning, comprehensive application hardware solutions based on domestic big computing chips, and special adaptation of hardware and software in AI vision, voice human-computer interaction underlying algorithms and other business scenarios. Released "believed that the chip can provide the entire computer system with high power support, is conducive to further strengthen peace technology in financial development in the field of science and technology, medical science and technology, advancing the peace group internal and external business scenario artificial intelligence technology, to maximize the realization of controllable, technology innovation and authors efficiency." Huang Yuxiang chairman said.
