Create a new engine for business growth

At this briefing, Goodix's executives introduced that Goodix's TWS SoC products have not been mass-produced for commercial use, so it is not convenient to disclose the process node. TWS SoCs require the use of advanced process nodes due to size constraints and power consumption requirements. At present, the company's TWS SoC has already sent samples to end customers. If it goes well, it is expected that products for mass production customers will be launched by the end of this year or early next year. The company's goal is brand customers, and the company will also be committed to expanding more abundant products to cover more and wider customers.
"Although we didn't enter the TWS market first, we are very confident that we can become a unique player." The executive of Goodix Technology said that the differentiated value of the company's TWS products is reflected in ultra-low power consumption and high audio quality, which has been widely received by the company. Customers recognize that this will be a great differentiating value.
In the third quarter performance briefing of Goodix Technology last year, Hu Yuhua, President of Goodix Technology, also said that in the TWS headset market, Goodix's multi-functional interactive sensor has been fully commercialized for OPPO, vivo, OnePlus and other head customers, and shipped in the first half of last year. The volume increased by more than 10 times year-on-year. Goodix will lay out the audio field for a long time, and TWS is only the starting point for the company; the company will continue to develop TWS SoC solutions, which are expected to become the company's new business growth engine.
Due to factors such as changes in the smart terminal market structure and intensified market competition, in the first half of 2021, Huiding Technology achieved an operating income of 1.829 billion yuan and a net profit of 21.09 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of nearly 95%. In addition, the company's inventory level is high.
Company executives pointed out that this year, especially in the second quarter, the entire industry has a very large downward trend. Starting from end customers, the inventory level has increased, but the company has very good inventory management and safety management mechanisms, so the company is confident The ability to continuously reduce the inventory level and return to the normal level as soon as possible is currently one of the more important priorities of the company to digest inventory.
Overall, the product structure of Goodix Technology is further adjusted. The revenue of fingerprint products has decreased by 22.44 percentage points year-on-year to about 45%. Compared with that of touch products, the proportion of revenue has increased to about 30%, and the revenue of new products has increased to about 30%. than about two percent.
According to an executive of Goodix Technology, in the first half of the year, the company's customer base and application market are developing in a more balanced direction, the risk of dependence on a single market and customers is reduced, and the customer base has gradually expanded from mobile phones to audio, PC, wearable, IoT, New market sectors such as automobiles. The revenue contribution from overseas markets continued to grow, with revenue accounting for more than half.
In the field of automotive electronics, Goodix's products such as in-vehicle touch control, voice algorithms, and voice software continue to develop the automotive market, and more automotive-grade products will be launched in the future. Company executives said that although the current revenue ratio of the vehicle business is not very high, it is growing rapidly every year, and the revenue ratio is also increasing year by year.
