First-generation Qualcomm S7 and S7 Pro Audio Platforms Open up New Horizontal Audio Experiences

        At yesterday's Snapdragon Summit, Qualcomm Technologies International, Ltd. announced the launch of Qualcomm's most advanced audio platform to date - the first generation of Qualcomm® S7 and S7 Pro audio platforms designed for earbuds, headphones and speakers. Pro audio platforms. Combining high-performance, low-power computing, device-side AI and advanced connectivity, these two products will usher in a whole new era of audio innovation and create breakthrough user experiences. The first-generation Qualcomm S7 Pro audio platform includes ultra-low-power Wi-Fi to extend the range of audio devices far beyond what is currently possible with Bluetooth alone, enabling users to listen to music or make voice calls while walking around the home, building or campus.

The first-generation Qualcomm S7 Pro audio platforms include ultra-low-power Wi-Fi and revolutionary Qualcomm XPAN technology to further revolutionize the audio experience, enabling whole-home and in-building audio connectivity coverage, support for multi-channel lossless music streaming up to 192kHz and enhanced multi-channel spatial audio for gaming."
        Snapdragon Sound™ Snapdragon Listening technology is available on the latest third-generation Snapdragon® 8 mobile platform and Snapdragon® X Elite, and when used with devices featuring the first-generation Qualcomm S7 or S7 Pro audio platforms, users will enjoy an unprecedented audio experience.
        The latest State of Audio Product Usage Research Report shows that consumers are very concerned about a top-notch audio experience, with 73 percent of respondents stating, "I will make sure that the device I buy delivers better sound quality every time I buy it." Consumers are also demanding new levels of music quality, with 69% of respondents listing lossless sound quality as a driving factor influencing their purchase of their next pair of earbuds.
