Sentry Enterprises has adopted the latest generation of the SLC37x family of security chips from Infineon, a global semiconductor leader in power systems and the Internet of Things, to fuel the development of its biometric platform. in both the real and digital worlds. The company created the SentryCard biometric platform, an identity solution with privacy protection at its core. Building on this platform, Sentry Enterprises will soon release the Sentinel Cold Wallet application, which uses biometrics for encryption. Sentry's identity platform will now be horizontally benchmarked to all secure authentication, payment and cryptocurrency applications, as well as other market segments.
Sentry is nearing completion of its next generation "Universal Identity Platform". The platform will be equipped with biometric-enabled hardware, an advanced smart card operating system, and integration with mobile applications and back-end systems. The new platform is focused on providing solutions to the security risks faced by today's applications, while also clearly positioning itself for the future: providing solutions for Web 3.0 and autonomous identity-related applications.

Mark Bennett, CEO of Sentry Enterprise, said: "Our expertise in biometric solutions has proven to be an important foundation for building a leading global identity ecosystem. We will be working with Infineon to integrate the SCL37x secure chip into the SentryCard and Sentinel biometric platforms to achieve the perfect balance between platform performance, power consumption and security."
Arnaud Moser, senior director of the Americas for Infineon Technologies' Smart Card and IoT Security business, said, "There is no doubt that biometric solutions built with privacy protection in mind will play a key role in security, authentication and the emerging cryptocurrency market. We are very pleased to see Sentry select Infineon's SLC38 secure chip to consolidate and enhance their biometric platform."
The Infineon Secure Controller used by Sentry is CC EAL 6+ security certified and is designed for use in secure and reliable digital identification applications such as e-passports, access cards and physical tokens, among other scenarios. Infineon is very pleased to work with Sentry to bring more secure, innovative and convenient solutions to the market.
