Chip: The increasingly intelligent electronic brain

The CPU and GPU in chips are the types we are most familiar with. Based on this, GPGPU came into being. In essence, it is still a GPU chip, but after optimization, it can perform more non-graphics computing tasks.
 

In future cities, GPGPU will play an important role. It has hundreds or thousands of core units and has strong parallel computing power. It is like an intelligent assistant behind every traffic light in the city, capable of analyzing traffic data in real-time and ensuring smooth traffic. At the same time, it has extremely high memory bandwidth and can quickly read and write large amounts of data, helping intelligent systems process various traffic information and ensuring the safety and efficiency of the traffic system. In addition, GPGPU not only has excellent graphics processing capabilities but also has strong general computing capabilities, and can provide strong computing power support in many fields such as autonomous vehicle perception systems and big data analysis in traffic control centers. Moreover, it can maintain a relatively high energy efficiency ratio while providing high performance and completing more work with lower energy consumption, which is crucial for the development of future cities. To train artificial intelligence and enable it to perform deep learning, analysis, simulation, and operation, we must rely on advanced chip technology, provide more intelligent and efficient solutions, and promote the integrated development of technology and society.
