The SN74LV8153N by Texas Instruments is a serial-to-parallel data converter with several practical features. In terms of data transmission, it uses a single-wire serial data input and is compatible with the UART serial data format. The address programming is flexible. The three address pins A0, A1, and A2 can be used to program the device address, allowing up to 8 devices (64-bit parallel) to share the same bus at most. In the open-drain mode, it can provide a current drive of up to 40mA, which is suitable for scenarios such as driving LEDs that require a large current. The latching performance exceeds 250mA, and the ESD protection reaches 2000V for the human-body model and 1000V for the charged-device model respectively.
