Micro-Nano Core completed 200 million yuan A and A+ rounds of financing, led by Founder Hesheng and Yida Capital

According to news from the investment community on August 12, Hangzhou Micronano Core Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Micronano Core"), an intelligent Internet of Things (AIoT) chip design company, completed 200 million yuan A round and A+ round of financing. The A round of financing was led by Founder Hesheng, followed by Degui Capital, AVIC Lianchuang and Mingshi Investment. The A+ round of financing was jointly funded by Yida Capital, Lenovo Ventures and Orie ntal Fortune Investment. Light Source Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor for this financing.
After Sequoia China led the angel round and Xiaomi Production Investment led the Pre-A round, the old shareholders and leading institutions led the investment, demonstrating the capital market's full recognition of the technical strength and business prospects of the micro-nano core. At the same time, the new investors will empower micro-nano cores in the fields of foundry, high-end industry, artificial intelligence and smart terminals, and accelerate the commercial implementation of the company's AIoT chip technology in multiple application scenarios.
The Micro-nano core was incubated in the School of Integrated Circuits of Peking University and the Institute of Advanced Information Technology of Peking University in Zhejiang Province. It is headquartered in Hangzhou and has a Wuxi/Beijing subsidiary and a Shanghai branch. The founding team published 6 AIoT chip test results that broke the current world record at the "International Olympics Conference on Integrated Circuit Design" ISSCC in the past three years. It is the first domestic award in the history of this award, and it is also selected as the "Top Ten Research Progress of China's Semiconductors in 2021"; the micro-nano core has a rare domestic chip R&D team with world-class continuous innovation capabilities.
