Recently, a letter from Intel PSG business line products to customers circulated in the industry.
The notification letter shows that due to supply chain cost pressure and continued strong demand, Intel intends to increase the price of some FPGA products, involving Arria®, MAX®, Stratix®, Cyclone® and other product lines, of which the older material price increase of 20%, the new material price increase of 10%.
FPGA full name Field Programmable Gate Array, that is, field programmable gate array, is essentially a chip.
The letter also shows that the measures will take effect on October 9 this year, all products shipped on and after that date will be settled at the new price.
Earlier this week, the media had also exposed rumors of a price increase by Intel, allegedly involving the entire product line, including CCG, DCG and other major sector product lines, Intel did not directly respond to the rumors of price increases, only to emphasize that the company will continue to meet customer demand for products and continue to bring innovation and value to customers in the short or medium to long term.
