Oct. 10, 2022 - pSemi® Corporation, a Murata company focused on semiconductor integration technologies, announced full production readiness of the new SP4T switch, which can be used for ultra-broadband and high-frequency applications up to 67 GHz.

The industry's first SP4T switch is both compact and energy efficient and is designed to enhance 5G millimeter wave systems and short-range connectivity. pSemi's PE42545 is part of a family of millimeter wave switches that provide best-in-class low insertion loss, high linearity, extremely short switching times, high power tolerance and support for frequency ranges up to 67 GHz, enabling designers in test and measurement, wireless infrastructure, non-terrestrial networks and point-of-use applications. wireless infrastructure, non-terrestrial networks and point-to-point communication applications to simplify design layouts and improve overall system efficiency.
As commercial millimeter wave deployments accelerate, customers need broadband millimeter wave switches with low insertion loss and low return loss performance to enable high-performance millimeter wave signal chains," said Vikas Choudhary, vice president of sales and marketing at pSemi. pSemi has more than 30 years of deep expertise in high-frequency semiconductor innovation and manufacturing to provide customers and partners with trusted, high-performance millimeter-wave solutions."
