It is reported that Samsung in South Korea is currently developing some new chipsets. The research and development purpose of this project is mainly to serve household appliances and future autonomous vehicle. It is expected that the company will start the research and development of this chipset by the end of 2022.
And according to insiders, Samsung will develop such chips to put everything needed for smart home on one chip. In fact, as early as August this year, Samsung announced that it hoped that almost all future home appliances would support Wi Fi and SmartThings. And the company is advancing its vision of connected homes, and may soon develop new chipsets to help achieve this goal.

In addition, Samsung has also observed an emerging trend, namely, beginning to conceptualize autonomous electric vehicles equipped with household appliances and electronic products. Therefore, the purpose of Samsung to develop such chipsets is to provide needed chips for such new energy vehicles with "home on wheels".
Although Samsung's profits declined in the third quarter of 2022, the sales of its automotive electronics business increased by 51% year on year. It is also said that the company is currently promoting the product concept of digital cockpit. Therefore, it is not difficult to see that the digital cockpit launched by Samsung has already taken the shape of "home on wheels". Perhaps it is not difficult to cook food on autonomous vehicle in the future.
