STMicroelectronics Introduces High-Precision Medium-Voltage Op Amps for Improved Signal Conditioning Accuracy in Industrial and Automotive Sensors

        ST's TSB182 dual operational amplifiers bring highly accurate signal conditioning to sensors, with key product highlights including a maximum 20µV input offset voltage, 100nV/°C temperature drift and a 4V-36V medium voltage operating voltage.
 
 
        In addition to high accuracy, stability, and a wide supply voltage range, the TSB182 is rated for operation from -40°C to 125°C. The TSB182 is also rated for operation over the full operating temperature range. The op amp's maximum offset voltage of 30μV over the entire operating temperature range ensures consistent sensor performance in industrial and automotive environments. Packages include the MiniSO-8 package, which allows designers to save board space and design smaller modules. The family also offers automotive-specification devices that meet AEC-Q100 standards.
        The TSB182 combines fast dynamic response and low power consumption with a typical operating current of only 650μA per amplifier, a gain bandwidth product (GBW) of 3MHz, and a slew rate of 2V/μs to ensure that output distortion is minimized over the entire frequency range. 24nV/√Hz input noise voltage meets the high-resolution and sensitivity requirements of the application. The devices also feature enhanced EMI immunity to enhance device performance in electrically noisy environments. With rail-to-rail outputs, these op amps help designers fully utilize the signal dynamic range and simplify circuit design in applications such as sensor interfaces and battery-powered devices. 

        The TSB182 is now in volume production and is available in a MiniSO-8 package. ST will add a standard SO-8 package at the end of the year.
