AFS: China's auto core shortage and production reduction have improved this year, and the number is only one tenth of that in the same period last yea

        Recently, the latest data released by the auto industry data forecasting company AutoForecast Solutions (hereinafter referred to as AFS) shows that due to the shortage of chips, the production of vehicles in all regions of the world decreased by about 96700 last week. Among them, the output of North America was reduced by 54000 vehicles, that of other regions in Asia was reduced by 25000 vehicles, and that of China was only reduced by 8200 vehicles.
 
 
        The agency said that at present, automobile factories around the world are under the pressure of chip shortage, but in the first half of this year, China basically passed the chip crisis. AFS predicted that, as of September 25, due to the shortage of chips, the global auto market had reduced the production of about 3.3768 million cars this year, while the global auto market had reduced the production of 8.934 million cars in the same period last year, almost twice as much as the same period this year. Among them, China has reduced the production of 166700 vehicles due to lack of cores this year, and the cumulative production reduction in the same period last year is about 10 times this figure.
        AFS said that by the end of this year, the cumulative production reduction in the global auto market will climb to about 4.2 million vehicles.
