Aldo Kamper assumes the role of CEO of AMS OSRAM

        Amess Osram (AMS), a leading global provider of optical solutions, today announced that Aldo Kamper has assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors effective April 1, 2023. Earlier on 30 January 2023, the Supervisory Board of Ames Osram made the appointment and announced this decision. In addition, since April 1, Aldo Kamper has assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer of OSRAM Licht AG, a subsidiary of Amais Osram Group.
 
 
        Aldo Kamper has nearly three decades of experience in the semiconductor industry and is an experienced CEO. Aldo Kamper started his career at OSRAM in various management positions and was President and CEO of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. During his tenure, he led the development of microLED technology, dynamic forward lighting technology, and LED technology planning lines for new applications such as plant lighting.

        Effective immediately, Aldo Kamper is also CEO of OSRAM Licht AG, a subsidiary of the Emmis OSRAM Group. The former CEO Ingo Bank will leave the company at the end of April 2023.
