Arm Introduced Neoverse V2, Next Generation Data Center Chip Technology

        There is reportedly an explosion in 5G data and connected devices, and in response to demand, Arm has announced the launch of a next-generation data center chip technology called Neoverse V2.
        Arm develops the technology, forms the intellectual property, and then licenses it to other companies. Most cell phones now use Arm technology, in addition to it is also pushing into the data center market, which has previously been ruled by AMD, Intel.

        Arm said Ampere, Amazon, Fujitsu and Alibaba have used Arm technology to develop data center processors, and Neoverse V2 can improve energy efficiency, but it did not provide specific data.
        Dermot O'Driscoll, Arm's vice president of product solutions, said of the new product: "Our partners embrace new technologies, and they develop very efficient solutions based on their specific areas of focus. So that said, evolving from V1 to V2, we're going to see some very attractive data points."
        According to Arm, NVIDIA's data center processor Grace will be designed with Neoverse V2 technology.
