Guanghetong's new generation of 5G module FG370 has achieved mass production: based on MediaTek T830 chip platform

        Guanghetong, a provider of wireless communication solutions and wireless communication modules for the Internet of Things, officially announced that the new generation of 5G module FG370 has been mass-produced, and will join hands with MediaTek to officially release the FG370-based FWA (IT Home Note: Full name Fixed Wireless Access) solution, including the reference design solutions of CPE and MiFi. At the MWC site, the FG370 module products, CPE and MiFi reference design demos have all been unveiled.
 
 
        Guanghetong's FWA solution based on FG370, including CPE and MiFi reference design demo, fully supports more than 7 advanced features of WiFi. The CPE reference design Demo size of BE19000 is 100 * 147 * 16.75mm, supports tri-band Wi-Fi 7, and can be expanded to 1 * 2.5G/1 * 1G PHY and SLIC interfaces; the MiFi reference design Demo size of BE6500 is 128.9 * 64.1 * 5.85mm, supports dual-band Wi-Fi 7, can be expanded to 1 * 1G PHY interface, and provides software algorithms such as fast charging management.
        In order to meet the needs of different customers for 5G speed, 5G coverage and storage, Guanghetong continues to carry out product optimization on PC1.5, low-frequency 4x4 MIMO, separate storage, and product upgrades on the millimeter-wave frequency band. The FG370 module was released in October 2022 and has obtained CE and GCF certification. FG370 has achieved mass production a few days ago, and the first batch of mass-produced products has been landed on customer end point equipment. Thanks to the performance of the MediaTek T830 platform, the FG370 has significantly upgraded its main frequency performance and gigabit-level throughput performance. Without increasing the CPU load, the FG370 can provide gigabit-level throughput performance for 5G network transmission to Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
        In terms of 5G rate and signal coverage, the FG370 supports up to 300MHz bandwidth and downlink NR 4CA (four-carrier aggregation) in FDD and TDD blend mode, and the maximum downlink rate can jump to 7.01Gbps. Furthermore, the FG370 adopts a 5G-compatible 8RX (receiving antenna) design, which improves the downlink rate under the condition that the frequency width remains unchanged. In addition, the FG370 supports PC1.5 with a transmit power of up to 29dBm, which greatly improves the 5G uplink rate and 5G effective coverage. The FG370 has rich peripheral interfaces (IT Home Note: including 3 PCI-Express, USB 3.2, and two USXGMII interfaces with speeds up to 10GbE), and can be extended to SLIC functions through PCM/SPI interfaces to support RJ11 telephone interfaces.
