Infosys to Acquire Leading Semiconductor Design Services Provider insemi

        Infosys (NSE, BSE, NYSE: INFY), a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, recently announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire insemi, a leading provider of semiconductor design and embedded services. This strategic investment further strengthens Infosys' engineering and R&D capabilities and demonstrates its continued commitment to co-creating with its global customers to help them navigate their digital transformation journey.
        Semiconductors are at the heart of the technologies that are driving the exponential growth of artificial intelligence (AI), 5G, hyper-connectivity, high-performance computing, quantum technology, virtual reality, the Internet of Things and smart devices. The partnership will help accelerate Infosys' chip-to-cloud strategy by introducing niche design skills at scale and will also pair seamlessly with existing investments in AI/automation platforms and industry partnerships. The partnership aims to coordinate comprehensive end-to-end product development for customers.
