Intel confirms 14th-gen Core processors based on Meteor Lake architecture, not Raptor Lake Refresh

        According to a previously reported Intel product roadmap, Intel's next generation desktop processors may not be based on Meteor Lake, but may be a minor revision of the 13th generation Core with the Raptor Lake Refresh architecture, which was previously unclear if it was the 14th generation Core.
 
 
        According to the latest images released by tipster momomo_us, the OpenVPL (Video Processing Library) hardware support list shows Intel's 14th generation Core processors listed as MTL / Meteor Lake. 
        In other words, Intel's 14th generation Core will not be a Raptor Lake Refresh minor revision, so the new Raptor Lake Refresh desktop product that will be launched in Q3 this year will have a different name, not excluding the possibility of a new 13th generation Core model, and the Meteor Lake processor on the desktop side will not be released any time soon. One of Intel's upcoming Meteor Lake mobile processors has appeared in the UserBenchmark database. 
        As you can see above, this processor is still in the ES stage and has 4 P-core and 8 E-core for a total of 12 cores and 16 threads. The cores are identified as the Arc series, which should be the latest Xe-LPG architecture, with improved performance compared to the current Xe cores. 
        According to Intel, the next generation of processors, Meteor Lake (expected to be mobile), will be available in the second half of 2023, using Intel's 4 process and external processes and introducing the first "Tile" design with integrated CPU, SOC, core and IOE chips.
