Samsung is not the only one who is "short of workers", this foundry is short of 7000 people

        Recently, the South Korean media reported that Samsung is considering a large-scale recruitment of construction workers for its new wafer fab in Tyler, Texas, the United States, the number of recruits is expected to reach more than 20,000. However, it should be noted that the lack of workers seems to be more than Samsung, according to foreign media reports, another foundry also encountered a "lack of construction workers" problem.
 
 
        The Associated Press reported that in recent years, the U.S. manufacturing shortage of workers in serious conditions, and Intel's chip plant in Ohio, the scale of the project is huge, manpower needs of 7,000 people. Since taking over as Intel's chief executive in February 2021, Pat Kissinger actively promote the development of Intel's foundry business, plans to spend hundreds of billions of dollars to build new fabs in the United States and Europe. 
        Earlier this year, Intel announced the construction of two new chip factories in the United States in Ohio, with an initial investment of more than $ 20 billion.
        According to the Associated Press, Intel's Ohio plant is the largest private investment case in state history, is expected to begin operations in 2025, when the plant will employ 3,000 employees, with an average salary of about $ 135,000. But before construction can begin, 1,000 acres (about 404 hectares) of land will need to be leveled and about 7,000 construction workers will be needed.
        The Associated Press reported that Intel said in a statement that it would learn from its experience in building previous semiconductor factories to ensure that there are enough construction workers.
