At the fifth China International Import Expo, which has attracted worldwide attention, Samsung displayed a "virtual cockpit" equipped with advanced technologies such as AR, outlining a beautiful imagination of future travel, and bringing the ideal dream at the beginning into reality.

Behind the "virtual cockpit" is the crystallization of Samsung's many cutting-edge technologies and chip products. At the CIIE, Samsung demonstrated Samsung's cutting-edge technology and top R&D strength in the future mobility field by displaying a number of "world's first" and "China's first" semiconductor chips.
Samsung, which has an early insight into future trends, based on its own technical reserves in the field of consumer electronic chips, has become more comfortable after turning to the new track for automotive-grade semiconductors. At the end of last year, Samsung launched the first automotive SoC chip Exynos Auto T5123, the first to achieve support for 5G networks. Since the beginning of this year, Samsung has significantly accelerated the layout of automotive semiconductor chips. At the Samsung Tech Day 2022 event held in Silicon Valley on October 5, it unveiled the Exynos Auto V920, a new generation of automotive SoC chips with a 4nm process.
Just a few dozen days later, Samsung couldn't wait to "show" the world's first mass-produced 3nm chip at the China International Import Expo, realizing the GAA "multi-bridge-channel field effect transistor" application for the first time, and improving the energy consumption ratio by reducing the operating voltage. , which has caused widespread concern in the upstream and downstream of smart cars.
It is reported that compared with the previous 5nm chip, the performance of Samsung 3nm chip is improved by 30% under the premise of reducing power consumption by 50%, and the chip area is reduced by 35%, which enables it to be assembled on a large scale on new energy vehicles. Taking into account complex high-performance computing and low power consumption, it will become the "strongest brain" for future travel.
