Solidigm officially launches its first consumer SSD

        Today, Solidigm officially launched its first consumer SSD since its inception: the P41 Plus, which uses the PCIe 4.0x4 specification and is available in 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB sizes, as well as M2.2280, 2242, and 2230, with M2.2242 and M2.2230 only available through OEMs.
        The P41 Plus is said to have a sequential read capability of 4125MB/s, a sequential write capability of 3325MB/s, a random read capability of 390K IOPS, and a random write capability of 540K IOPS. In terms of endurance, the P41 Plus is 200TBW for the 512GB version, 400TBW for the 1TB version, and 800TBW for the 2TB version with a five-year warranty. 
        It is worth mentioning that, as a product of Intel and SK Hynix, Solidigm has a deep technical reserve although it has been established for a very short time. With this release of the P41 Plus, Solidigm brings the new Solidigm Synergy technology, which can monitor based on a set of storage drives and identify different usage scenarios based on different usage scenarios.
