TDDI Chip Offer has Increased by 10%

        According to the Economic Daily News, the cell phone HD version of the driver and touch integration IC (TDDI) recently due to tight supply and demand accidental news of price increases, part of the IC design industry confirmed that the mainstream market since the beginning of March HD picture quality TDDI chip offer has increased by 10%. This is the first time that IC design houses have seen a price increase after a wave of corrections since the second half of last year, making the semiconductor industry's boom dawn.
        IC design manufacturers pointed out that this time the HD version of the TDDI chip accidental price increase, mainly because of a foundry in mainland China based on profit considerations, control TDDI production capacity, moved to support other brands of major manufacturers products, and part of the production of power management ICs, immediately so that the total supply of cell phone applications HD version of TDDI reduced, short-term supply exceeded demand, resulting in unexpected price increases. As for other driver IC, the price is still a bit far from the price increase, but no more price cuts should be the market consensus.
        IC design factory sources said frankly, HD version of TDDI supply should continue to April, and so in May, the capacity supply back to normal, the price may return to normal, but "there are orders, and price increases" is better than no good.
        In addition, the recent market rumors, drive IC manufacturers such as United Wing, SiC, etc., benefit from the end demand to stop the slow rise, customers back to replenish inventory and new products launched in April will increase part of the drive IC offer 10% to 15%.
