The US and Europe will join forces to curb the chip subsidy competition

        May 16 news, in Europe and the United States compete to improve the local production of semiconductor chip.The United States and the EU will announce a cooperation plan to avoid a "subsidy competition" between the US, a senior Biden administration official said yesterday amid racing to boost the local production of semiconductor chips.
  
        The second meeting of the U. S. -EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) was held in Paris, France, on Sunday and Monday.European and American officials are said to announce the decision. 
        Last September, the US-EU Trade and Technology Council first met in Pittsburgh.At the time, US and EU officials had promised to deepen transatlantic cooperation to strengthen the chip supply chain and take a more unified approach to regulating large global technology companies. 
At the second meeting, the European Union and the United States will announce more measures to deepen cooperation in technology areas such as semiconductors.
