Intel's new Raptor Lake T-Series CPUs are finally available online, including the i9-13900T, (opens in new tab) i7-13700T, (opens in new tab) i5-13600T, (opens in new tab) 13500T, (opens in new tab) 13400T and i3-13100T from German retailer CaseKing (opens in opens in new tab). Originally these chips were supposed to be available a month ago, but for unknown reasons this did not happen.
With a TDP of 35W, Intel's 13th generation T-Series CPUs are the lowest power consumption processors you can buy that use Intel's latest Raptor Lake architecture and fit into a desktop socket. If you're planning your own build (see How to build a PC), you probably won't want one of these unless you're planning to put it in a small form factor case without a lot (or any) active cooling. However, we often see T-series chips in pre-built mini PCs, such as Lenovo's ThinkCentre M Tiny series.

All models from the Core i9-13900T to the Core i3-13100T have the same cache and core count configuration, but the clock speeds of both the P-core and E-core take a big hit due to stricter power requirements. These will not be the best CPUs for gaming or productivity.
For example, compared to the i9-13900 and i7-13700, the Core i9-13900T and i7-13700 have a 300MHz lower max turbo frequency, with max turbo frequencies of 5.3GHz and 4.9GHz respectively. base clocks take a more significant hit, dropping almost a full GHz on the 13900T and 13700T, to 1.1GHz and 1.4GHz.
Similarly, on the same i9 and i7, the base and boost clocks for E-cores are 500 to 700 MHz lower than their common counterparts. i9-13900T, for example, has an E-Core frequency of 0.8 GHz base and 3.9 GHz boost, while the i9-13900 has a base frequency of 1.5 GHz and a boost frequency of 4.2 GHz. The i7-13700T has a base frequency of 1 GHz and a boost frequency of 3.6 GHz, while the 13700 has a base frequency of 1.5 GHz and a boost frequency of 4.1 GHz.
On the other hand, maximum RWD has been reduced considerably to less than half the power consumption of standard components (not to mention K SKUs). i9-13900T and i7-13700T have a maximum RWD of just 106W, compared to 219W for 13900 and 13700.
Unfortunately, the Raptor Lake T's lower clock speeds don't require as significant a price reduction as one might hope. All of the chips hold the same price as their non-K brethren. According to CaseKing's listings, the i9-13900T is $671, the i9-13700T is $469, the i5-13600T is $308, the 13500T is $283, the 13400T is $272, and the i3-13100T is $155. All prices include VAT plus shipping and are converted from Euros to US Dollars.
