It home reported on July 28 that apple is opening a new development base in Israel to develop new Apple silicon chips for future Macs.

According to the Israeli times, Elad Wertheimer, who is in charge of Apple's chip talent recruitment, announced the news in a post on LinkedIn. According to Wertheimer, Apple's new development base will participate in several flagship projects led by Israel, including the cutting-edge "future MAC processor".
It home learned that Apple has operated two R & D bases in
Hozlia and Haifa, Israel. Johny srouji, senior vice president of Apple hardware technology, is from Israel and is responsible for the establishment of the Israeli development center, which currently has about 2000 employees in Israel.
Johny srouji said last month: "Through the development in Israel, apple managed and simplified the data storage technology in a series of devices, including the wireless communication components of Apple watch and the integrated circuit developed in Israel. The Israeli team also played a central role in developing the advanced version of the company's flagship M1 processor, including M1 pro and M1 Max chips, which are designed to support high-end MAC computers such as M
acbook pro and MacBook studio. These chips are made in Made in Israel and working with other teams around the world, including apple headquarters in Cupertino.
Since 2011, Apple has significantly expanded its business in Israel, focusing on semiconductor design, testing and engineering. Earlier this year, the Israeli Times reported that Apple's Israeli team directly supported the development of M1 chip.
