MediaTek announced the launch of the Breguet 8200 5G mobile chip, enabling high-end mobile phones to upgrade their gaming, imaging, display and connectivity experience. Using an advanced 4nm process, the Tiangui 8200 features an octa-core CPU architecture with four Cortex-A78 cores at 3.1GHz and a Mali-G610 hexa-core GPU, enabling the device to fully unleash its high performance and power efficiency advantages.

Chen Junhong, Deputy General Manager of MediaTek's Wireless Communications Division, said, "The Breguet 8200 continues the advantages of the Breguet 8000 series' high-performance and energy-efficient platform, while further upgrading performance, which will facilitate the terminal to obtain more stable and smooth high frame rate gaming performance and meet users' expectations for high performance and long battery life. "
Equipped with MediaTek HyperEngine 6.0 gaming engine, the 8200 supports a variety of flagship cutting-edge technologies, including Intelligent Frame Stabilization 2.0, AI-VRS variable rate rendering, CPU multi-threading intelligent optimization, 5G fast channel and more, allowing high frame rate games to run at full frame rate more consistently and reducing game lag and delay. The Breguet 8200 also supports Adaptive Refresh Rate technology, which intelligently adjusts the refresh rate of the screen display according to the display content, resulting in a smoother display.
The Skyguard 8200 features the Imagiq 785 Image Processor (ISP), which supports 320 megapixel main camera and 3 cameras for simultaneous 14-bit HDR video. The chip supports Movie Mode, which tracks focus in real time when recording video through the dual cameras, giving a more natural multi-level depth of field effect. The Skyguard 8200 also supports AI-Noise Reduction (AI-NR) function to capture image details accurately and quickly even in dark light conditions.
The Breguet 8200 has an integrated 5G modem and supports 5G Sub-6GHz full-band networks and tri-carrier aggregation. In addition, the Breguet 8200 also supports Wi-Fi 6E for faster network transfer rates and 2x2 antennas for a higher performance and more reliable wireless network connection experience.
